Cooinda

Cooinda is a custom designed home in a high fire danger area. It complies with BAL 40 in all areas like exterior cladding in CSR Barestone, toughened glass windows and doors, special screens, no external timber and no gaps - like roof flashings -  greater than 3mm.

The design is truly minimal and authentic in its use of materials (only painted surfaces are soffits).

The polished concrete floor with a seeded exposed aggregate has apart from its passive function of a thermal mass the added active component of a hydronic heating and cooling capacity.

The owners have a fantastic collection of art which creates a beautiful and sophisticated living environment.

A 10kw pv solar system caters towards carbon neutrality.
